Event marketing background

Building practical skills in event marketing

How we started teaching this

We launched in 2023 after seeing too many courses that treated event marketing like theory instead of practice. The gap between what people learned and what they could actually use was frustrating to watch.

Our approach came from working with events directly — product launches, conferences, trade shows. The kind where you see what works and what doesn't in real time. We built the curriculum around that experience, focusing on the execution details that make campaigns succeed or fail.

Students work through scenarios based on actual events we've run or consulted on. They build promotion timelines, write messaging for different channels, handle registration flows, and plan post-event follow-up. The content isn't hypothetical because event marketing doesn't work in hypotheticals.

What makes our courses different

We focus on the specific skills you need to plan, promote, and execute events that actually achieve their objectives.

Campaign structure

You learn how to build promotion timelines that align with event goals. We cover pre-event buzz, registration pushes, speaker announcements, and maintaining momentum through launch day.

Channel execution

Each channel has its own rhythm and requirements. Email sequences need different pacing than social posts. Paid ads need different creative than organic content. We work through all of them.

Metrics tracking

You can't improve what you don't measure. We teach you which numbers matter for different event types and how to use that data to adjust your approach mid-campaign.
